yodlee

After almost 4 years in Yodlee i have decided to move on and today is my last day at Yodlee.

It was amazing working at Yodlee, i learnt as much as i could and contributed as much i could.

Being there from 5.x,6.x and 7.x i see the tremendous progress we have made. I am proud to be part of the team. The products are awesome and will sure have an impact in the market.

I wish the very best to the team and thanks again for giving me an opportunity to work there.

Last monday we had been to Wonderla on a team outing. It was fun, i didnot want to risk any rides though :-D

Me and Anand went for the laser show instead, it was awesome. I took a video of that too, but the audio quality is not good. I will clean it and then put it up.

Just got back from poornima's place. Since my brothers and cousin had not seen her, we had gone to her place. My mom was here whole of last week, we had some pretty good food :-) in return she burnt a neat hole in my wallet :-((.

I have added link blog sections to the site. I will be adding links to posts that intrigue me. I am using SharpReader as my RSS Aggregator. I went through its docs; it supports custom plugins. I will write a plugin to link the posts directly to my site

My hosting provider has announed that they are giving free access to componentone's WebMenu controls for asp.net, i thought of integrating that with the site but it is not registering properly in my IDE. So i have just added a new theme. I will fix the menu stuff by tommorrow.

We had been to sangeeth's marriage on November 20 to dindigul. Myself, Imran and Pranav had gone together. The marriage was early in the morning; it was good. We had some nice food too! After the marriage we left for Palani by 10 in the morning. Reached home in the after noon, had lunch, went around the farm and the left for Erode by 2 in the afternoon. We caught the bangalore train at 7:45 at erode, it reached bangalore at 10:30 in the night. I still have to update sangeeth's marriage snaps. Imran is biting my head for the snaps :-D.

Last week was hectic as usual. Had to go home for diwali holidays. Diwali was uneventful, but the day after myself and sivan sir left for chennai to see the first ever alliance proposal that went past my parents and came to me. Will post more details about it, when the time comes.

We had our all hands meeting today and it was attended by our Board of Directors too. We had some pretty good presentations. I also got a pleasant surprise :-). I was awarded MVP Q3-2005.

I was working on the JSP Pre Compilation UI today, damn Swing has improved a lot in JDK 1.5. The application loads and responds very quickly.

During the last weekend at RWS, we had not much to do. We went for a movie War of the Worlds. It was a nice movie, the concept was well thought off. Something that has been happening in our world itself (Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies).

A lot has happened in the last 45 days. Got an opportunity to visit the US office, went to the Chennai US Embassy for visa and got B1/B2 Visa for 10 years :-).
Left for US on July 17th; I am staying at the corporate appartments. It is an awesome place; fully furnished with everything. I have added some snaps of the appartment in the gallery.
