We pushed out a new release to production yesterday. The gas application has a bunch of new features.

• GasBuddy price lookup is also now integrated into the applicaiton. This is in addition to the OPIS price lookup we had since launch.
  
• The results can now be filtered by the last reported time at a given station.

Yesterday we launched our next vertical saving money in you gas bills. Basically our tool helps find the cheapest gas stations in your area or on your commute path. We are using Google Maps API; in fact we are using their premier services, looks like we were the first ones to reach a limit on that, by afternoon the app was freezing on the client side with Google saying daily quote reached etc. Finally it got resolved by late night. And today we got dugg again and this time twice ( Retail Store Policies: Protect Your Purchases and BillShrink Brings Its Cost-Cutting Engine To The Gas Pump) on the homepage itself :-). The blog went offline again due to heavy load, have tweaked it again, lets see how it holds tomorrow. The app however is holding on pretty good.
