Ajit got married to davinia on the 23rd at Mumbai, his marriage reception was held in tuticorin on the 26th.

Lakshmanan, Mahesh and I went to attend his marriage reception. On 25th we left for tuticorin from Chennai aboard the Pearl City. The bride and groom were also travelling in the same train, so met Ajit in the train itself.

The train was awfully slow, it reached tuticorin in the morning at around 9, went straight to Ajit's home; had breakfast (without brushing ;-)). His dad had arranged a cab and a hotel room for us, so went to the hotel; freshened up. Then took the cab and went to panjalankurichi to see the Veerapandiya Kattabomman's Palace. Then went to VOC's house (has been converted to library and a museum). The climate was cool and was drizzling often.

We then went to kayathar to the place where kattabomman was hanged. From there thirunelveli was near; went there. The temple there was closed due to the solar eclipse that day. So we went and got ourselves 2kg of tirunelveli halva from vasanthi sweets.

It was already 3pm by then and Lakshmanan was grumping for food. We stopped to eat at aryas and as we were searching for a place to sit, Mahesh noticed the all the people eating there were all having vegetarian food :-| we quickly went out to check the name board of the hotel and it didn’t mention that it was non-veg ;-) so we took the car and searched for another NON-VEG hotel :-D. We found one aachis just around the corner opposite to RMKV. The hotel was packed with people, had to wait a few minutes to get a seat.

Once we were seated; Lakshmanan ordered full meals with chicken, while Mahesh, driver and myself ordered the full meals with mutton. The food was real good. After the late-lunch we took off back to tuticorin, went to the beach there. The beach was a still beach, No waves; it was like as if the water was still. It looked beautiful. We took a few snaps and went back to the hotel, on the way we picked up Pandiyaraj as well.

We then got ready and started for the marriage hall were the reception was being held, one of the cab tires got punctured and had to take an auto to the marriage hall. When we reached the marriage hall, the ceremony was well underway. This was the first time we were witnessing a Christian marriage reception. It was different and interesting to watch. We congratulated the couple and rushed to the dinner hall :-D the mutton briyani was amazing.

The return to Chennai was through a a/c sleeper bus. With little time left for the bus to depart we rushed back to the bus stand and caught the bus. The bus ride was better than the train ride the day before. The bus reached kyambedu by 8 in the morning, Mahesh and myself took the local bus and by the time i got home it was 9:30.

The whole trip was very good, A chance to meet a bunch of old friends and travel places.

Ajit and Davinia have a wonderful and happy married life.

Just got back from poornima's place. Since my brothers and cousin had not seen her, we had gone to her place. My mom was here whole of last week, we had some pretty good food :-) in return she burnt a neat hole in my wallet :-((.

We had been to sangeeth's marriage on November 20 to dindigul. Myself, Imran and Pranav had gone together. The marriage was early in the morning; it was good. We had some nice food too! After the marriage we left for Palani by 10 in the morning. Reached home in the after noon, had lunch, went around the farm and the left for Erode by 2 in the afternoon. We caught the bangalore train at 7:45 at erode, it reached bangalore at 10:30 in the night. I still have to update sangeeth's marriage snaps. Imran is biting my head for the snaps :-D.

Last week was hectic as usual. Had to go home for diwali holidays. Diwali was uneventful, but the day after myself and sivan sir left for chennai to see the first ever alliance proposal that went past my parents and came to me. Will post more details about it, when the time comes.

Another update after long time. Myself, Gajendran and Hari went to Kudajadri this weekend. It was an awesome trip. We went through Mangalore, Udupi and Kollur. We kept gaja's accent at Kollur and left on a jeep to Kudajadri. It was about 35 kms from there. The last 12 kms of the journey was amazing. There was no road; all that there was were large stone boulders; the jeep was literlly climbing over them. Kudajadri is an amazing place. Next time i will for sure camp there. We stayed at an Inspection Bungalow up in Kudajadri, it had nice beds and a good bathroom.

Friday tad,erik and myself went to tour the aircraft carrier USS Midway, anchored at San Diego. It was in awesome condition; it was in service for almost 50 Years, the last one being the Gulf War!

I am at San Diego at present with Erik, visiting his place. Took a 3 day off from office. Drove down to San Diego on 19th night. We are staying at Patti's(Erik's aunt) place. She has got an awesome place, she has decorated the house with all sorts of paintings, snaps, etc. The walls are fully covered with them.

Got a surprise mail from Ghoshal on sunday, informing me of a yahoo group for our class 10A/B guys. I got an invite from sampath on monday. Even as our QA guys were biting my head off over the Fidelity issue, i couldn't resist going through the postings in the group. Wow the group is alive and kicking. Nice to hear guys and thanks a lot for fishing me out ;-).
Also received a mail from Suresh Babu. Last time i saw him was when i was in class 11th, and it was for some competition i belive and place was Erode.

On the bright side last week i saw some nice movies. Since the next episode of Smallville is not due till April, missing Allison :-((
• Bought Shrek 2 from Landmark on sunday. This one was kind of OK not comparable to part one.
• Nanda had got special screening tickets to Constantine on monday, the movie was awesome.
• Went for Meet the Fockers with Gaja on wednesday, this too was great :-P.
• Went for Mayavi with bro on Saturday, This also was good. The story is somewhat different. I am still humming the Seettu Kattu Rani song :-))

Wow 2 weeks went just like that, could not update the site at all :-((.

Hectic schedule both at home and at office. Did my code completion for Keyrotation and CVV2 Backup by 11th, had to goto Sabarimala on the 14th and 15th, had my exams on the 19th and 20th and finally did code complete for Incremental Recaching today ! Phew. Looks like one more round is going to start tommorow, hemant mentioned today that i have to start work on some SDK Autologin stuff with SSO-SAML.
