Addonics has this cool Mini NAS Adapter, using which you can hook any USB storage device onto the network. The price is good too. It comes with a bunch of cool features like

• Built-in Bit Torrent client.
• Print server support.
• FTP server support.
• Samba server support.

I bought a refurbished NSLU2 some time back, and it is pretty cool too. Once i loaded Debian on it from NSLU2 - Linux, i got myself a mini computer for just under 50 bucks ;-). I hooked it to my 1TB drive and now i run my source control (SVN), my media server(MediaTomb) etc on it. I tried to install Ruby as well, however the gems install seems to hang for some reasons. Given its 32MB RAM i think it is understandable :-D. Will have to checkout this memory upgrade option.
