Went on a hike to the Montara Mountain Summit yesterday, this was nice, we had about 8 people attending this one. Got up at 8 in the morning and left for the park at around 9. The drive was amazing, i took the CA-1 south route and the drive long the ocean was simply superb. Reach the place on time. We started off at around 10:30. The views along way were awesome, once we reached higher ground we could see either sides of the bay at the same time; It was cool. The climb was gradual for the most part. However we had some steep climbs at points. Once we got to the summit, we had an almost 360 degree view of the bay. If had a panoramic option in my camera it would have been an awesome shot, however i took a bunch of individual snaps and stitched them together using Microsoft ICE - Image Composite Editor, a pretty damn good one.

BillShrink team had a holiday party at Donato Enoteca - Redwood City, it was a full 4 hours of gossip :-). I think everyone except tom came to the party. The food was good, though it was more of a designer food than volume food. I prefer the latter :-D

The dessert was awesome.

Last year we had around 10+ people at the party, this year it was 20+ and i wish for it to be 30+ next year :-)

Went on a hike at the Hike at Sunol Regional Wilderness - Alameda County today, this one was amazing, we had almost 50 people attending this one :-). Got up at 9 in the morning and left for the park at around 9:30, It was drizzling slightly. The directions on google map mentioned to take a turn before the actual turn and let me take a narrow winding road up the hill. I went for about 5 miles and didnot see any building, so i turned back and followed the instructions on the hike ticket and got to the place :-) The crowd was big, we started off. Just as we started the cloud seemed to clear and the weather turned amazing.

Just got the new license plates for my car, don't they look great :-))

I went for a hike to the Almaden Quicksilver County Park - San Jose today, this was organized by the The San Jose Hiking Meetup Group. We started off from there at 9:05 AM, it was a 12 mile hike with an elevation gain of 1000 feet. Unlike the previous one, this one was through dense trees. The pace was good, the climate was awesome; clear and sunny. My left ankle was still acing from the last week's hike and looks like it got worse today.

Yesterday i was to meet erik and roniya for breakfast, i was soo tired due to the go karting the previous day, i over slept the alarm and woke up around 11. I called erik and updated him, we will plan on a meet next week probably.

Last friday we went racing at the GoKartRacer in Burlingame. It was fun, this was my second go kart racing ever and i did pretty fine. I finished 4th on the warm-up and 3rd in the finals. Everyone was very competitive and that made the whole experience good :-) Since there were many of us, we were made to race in 2 groups. In my group peter, cap and philip were always fighting for the first spot, i was tailing them.

A few days back i was searching for some hiking groups around the bay area and found a bunch at Meetup.com. Joined a few groups there, I liked this group "Let's hike and maybe take a break if we get tired" and they had a hike at
