Eclipse Helios is here

Last week we had been to the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Vallejo near San Francisco, it was pretty good. There were lot of rides for kids, we took pranesh on most of them. The White Water Safari was really good, he liked it soo much that we did that twice. We went into the park at around 11 and were there till 8:30 in the evening we could not get to some of the shows, it's worth going back there again.

I wanted to write about it the day after launch but could not find time; so here it goes :-)

We launched our next vertical two weeks ago.

The Visual Studio 2010 is awesome. I was playing around with the Silverlight development and it is pretty cool, It is far better than Visual Studio 2008.

If you are trying out the Office 2010 Beta, there seems to be a bug in Outlook that increases the size of some messages sent through it. More info is available at their blog - Issue with message sizes in Outlook 2010 Beta.

this weekend i hiked again at the Almaden Quicksilver County Park - San Jose, it was organized by the The San Jose Hiking Meetup Group. We started off from there at 9:40 AM, it was a 8 mile hike with an elevation gain of 1000 feet. This time we took the entrance from the whispering pines drive. We hiked through the mine hill trail->guadalupe trail->prospect trail->new almaden trail. The pace was pretty good, we did the hike in under 3 hours.

Traveled to India during December, my brother got married during the first week of December. It was cool. It was a tiring 3 days as there was the reception at mettupalayam, marriage the following day and another reception at palani the day after.I pretty much met all my relatives there. At the reception in palani i fell sick due to dehydration, It took 2-3 days for me to recover. The following week was full of travel between temples and relatives places. This time we had pranesh tonsure his head at poorni's native place.
